✨ “Many Are Called But Whew, Only a Few Survive the Group Chat 🤦♀️
💁♀️ Chosen-ness, and Why the Enemy Keeps Messing With Your Basic Needs: Let’s talk about that famous line Jesus dropped in Matthew 22:14: “Many are called, but few are chosen.” People love to quote it like it’s a spiritual mic drop but baby, if you’ve ever tried to walk in your calling, you know it’s less “mic drop” and more “plot twist.” Because the moment you say, “Okay Lord, I’m ready,” the enemy says, “Bet. Let’s see how ready you really are.” And suddenly your life looks like a deleted scene from the Book of Job. 😩 The Enemy Doesn’t Attack Randomly He Attacks Strategically: If the enemy can’t steal your calling, he’ll try to starve the parts of you that sustain it. Straight out of Maslow’s hierarchy of needs, the enemy goes for the foundation: 🥴 1. Physiological Needs: You ever notice how the warfare gets loudest when you’re tired, hungry, broke, or stretched thin? The enemy loves a sleep‑deprived saint. He knows you can’t rebuke him properly when you’re running on fumes and iced coffee. 😤 2. Safety & Security: Suddenly your job feels shaky, your finances get weird, your home feels chaotic. Not because God left but because the enemy wants you so stressed you forget you’re covered. But Psalm 91 already told you: “He is my refuge and my fortress.” 😒 3. Love & Belonging: Oh, this is the enemy’s favorite. He’ll send confusion into relationships, stir up drama, and make you feel isolated. Because if he can make you feel alone, he can make you feel unchosen. 😑 4. Esteem: The enemy whispers: “You’re not good enough.” “You’re not ready.” “Who do you think you are?” Meanwhile God is like: “I literally called you. Please stand up.” 🔥 5. Self‑Actualization AKA Walking in Your Calling: This is where the chosen ones shine. This is where the enemy panics. This is where your anointing gets loud. This is where your purpose starts stepping on demonic toes. And THIS is why many are called but only a few push through the nonsense long enough to be chosen. 🫣 Because Let’s Be Honest: Some people tap out at the first inconvenience. They get a flat tire and say, “Maybe God didn’t want me to go.” Meanwhile the chosen ones are out here like: “Toe hurting, bank account gasping, phone on 3%, but I’m still showing up because God said GO.” Chosen ones don’t quit, they pivot. Chosen ones don’t fold, they fasten their seat belts and keep moving. Chosen ones don’t break, they bend, pray, and bounce back with holy audacity. ✨ Biblical Receipts for the Chosen Ones: 📖 Jeremiah 1:5 God knew you before you knew yourself. 📖 Isaiah 43:1 He called you by name. 📖 Romans 8:30 Those He called, He justified and glorified. 📖 1 Peter 2:9 You are a chosen generation. 📖 Job 42:10 After the attack comes the restoration, double. 📣 The enemy attacks what God anoints. If the warfare is loud, it’s because your calling is louder. 🙏 Prayer: Father, strengthen every called one reading this. Fortify their mind, their body, their spirit, and their needs from the ground up. Cover their home, their finances, their relationships, and their purpose. Silence every lie of the enemy and amplify every promise You’ve spoken. Let them walk boldly as the chosen ones You created them to be. Restore what was stolen, multiply what was delayed, and accelerate what is due. Let Your favor go before them, Your angels surround them, and Your peace sustain them. And may every attack become evidence of the blessing that’s on the way. In Jesus’ namen Amen, Ameen, Ase, So Be It. 🌸 LovenLight Affirmation for Overcoming: I rise above every challenge with grace, strength, and divine alignment. What was meant to break me becomes the soil I bloom from. I am guided, protected, and chosen for victory. No weapon, no worry, no whisper of doubt can stop what God has ordained. I overcome because overcoming is my birthright. 📚 Sources: The Holy Bible. King James Version, Matthew 22:14; Psalm 91; Jeremiah 1:5; Isaiah 43:1; Romans 8:30; 1 Peter 2:9; Job 42:10.
